San Telmo

I have posted pictures from today.  We went to San Telmo for the Sunday street fair.  It was really crowded, maybe more than normal since today is Argentina’s Mother’s Day.  We walked about 3 miles today and were on 3 subway trains.  After lunch, people watching, and shopping for a cane for Jim and a hat for me, we walked down Defensa for a mile with flea market booths with many different things to buy.  At the end was Plaza de Mayo (historical and government buildings) and found the shopping walking street, Florida.  Definitely a bustling city, but it appears many people are selling things since unemployed.  The prices are higher than even 1.5 years ago.  Inflation, inflation.  More soon, Cheryl
