Tomorrow we leave to go to Orange County to see friends and attend The Navy Band Concert at Orange Coast College. One of Jim’s students is in The Band and we hope to see other ex-students and parents. Saturday, we will head north along the coast with one night in Pismo and then on to the Bay Area.
Sunday we are meeting Jim’s cousins in Fremont to have lunch with his only surviving aunt, Faye (age 97-98). We saw her last year at cousin Dale’s when he hosted a celebration of life for his mother, Winnie who had died at age 101+. Monday, we are meeting Cheryl’s good friend from college (and maid of honor at our wedding), Linda and husband at her son’s place of work, Google. We are going to have a tour and eat lunch with Eric. Should be fun.
Tuesday, we may do a quick visit to San Francisco, but our final destination is Stockton and Dale and Diana’s house. He has just had some very serious neck surgery. We’ll spend a couple of days with them. We’ll be gone about a week.
We have been having some pretty cold weather, for us and rain and some hail. But nothing like what the mid-West and East coast have been having. Take care, this winter.
