Back home on May 15

The last 2 days in Germany, we stayed with our friend Ilse (and her Swedish dog, Lotte) in Meerbusch, near Dusseldorf. We met her in 1985, but had not been to see her in many years. We also drove to Munster to see her youngest daughter, Vera. Vera speaks excellent English and translates published works from Swedish, Russian and English into German. She gave us a brief tour of the old city of Munster. It was good to see them both.

Now we have been home a few days and are over the jet lag, but still catching up. Great weather here in Southern California, 75-80o and sunshine!
