White Villages of Mijas and Nerja

There are many “white villages” in the Andalucia area of Spain.  We visited 2, one, Mijas (April 23) was in the moutains southwest of us and the other, Nerja, (April 24) was on the Med Sea east of Malaga.  We traveled by bus to both.  Local public buses and Alsa, a private bus line.  Both are beautiful little towns, and of course mostly white buildings.

Many narrow streets in Mijas. Walkers shared with cars.

We really enjoyed these 2 days and did quite a bit of walking, again.  Jim is doing great and hadn’t taken any motrin or used his cane.  Outstanding!  More to come, I am doing catchup!
