Toledo, Spain, May 4-7

Our last 3 nights were in Toledo, a beautiful old city south of Madrid.  It has so much history and buildings are from the Turks, Romans, Christians and more.  We stayed at a very nice hotel across the river, Hotel Abaceria.  We think we got the best room, for the view.  We had a good size patio, with unobstructed view of the city.  So nice for evening cocktails, and meals.

We drove all around the city, old and new and walked on the San Martin Bridge several times.  We did our grocery shopping and some meals in the newer part of the city.  I am going to put some more photos on at end. Unfortunately could not find the slide show feature.  We took so many.  Really enjoyed these last days of our trip and glad we chose Toledo.  Our last day, May 7, we had to drive to Madrid; that’s another story, but we survived and are home and feeling well.  Our next adventure will be with the granddaughters.  We pick them up in Vegas on the 19th.  Hope your weather is not severe, where you are.
